I mentioned earlier in the thread that I was born in 1963. I am planning on collecting and opening as many different vintage (or late bottled vintage) ports from 1963 as I can in my 50th year. There are some shippers I am having trouble tracking down so if anyone has - or knows of - any of the following ports, please let me know.

If you already own any on the list below and would be willing to trade, I will make sure that you trade up rather than down!

Thanks,

Alex

Looking for
Pinto dos Santos
Barros
Berry Brothers own label
Calem
Douro Wine Shippers & Growers Association
Feist
Kopke
Krohn
Quinta do Cachao
Quinta de la Rosa
Ramos Pinto
Rocheda
Rozes
Tuke Holdsworth
and any other small independendent Quintas who may have made vintage port from the grapes of that harvest.

I am very grateful to have already been offered help with Pocas and Smith Woodhouse, but I have heard that there is some doubt over the authenticity of the Smith Woodhouse so I am keen to look for another bottle.

I have some great news for you folks who mentioned 1951, 1961 and 1981 as miserable years. Make sure to pay close attention to "Roy's Recent Tasting Notes" in the FTLOP Newsletter that will be released this week. Some great options coming up for all of you with those birth years.
