"This powerful red delivers concentrated flavors of dark plum, Asian spice, roasted meats and dark chocolate that are backed up by fine acidity. Medium-grained tannins are silky, and the finish is rich, with concentrated notes of dark chocolate, mocha and cream. Best from 2012 through 2018. 200 cases imported."

I think those must be 7s, not 1s. That would make more sense.

I suppose this just goes to show how little even wine "professionals" understand about Vintage Port. On the bright side, this lack of appreciation probably goes a long way in keeping the prices down for those of us who truly love it... [cheers.gif]
