I seem to recall that we were told that the wine from Vesuvio that did not make the Vesuvio bottlings were added to the general pool of wines available to the Symington organisation generally for the blended wines.

That Graham's crusted (bottled 2000) could contain some of the Vesuvio wine.

Similarly - if my memory serves me well - there was no Naçional released in 1995 so the 1995 Quinta do Noval and 1995 LBV might be your "nearly" Naçional. The unfiltered 1995 LBV certainly does seem to be developing a reputation as an extremely good version of this type of wine.

And the '94 Noval LBV even better ... perception, reputation or not.
