The small bottles were only included to provide a small number of small format samples (with no special packing) - my revised breakdown works out as:

50 x 3000ml
100 x 1500ml
300 x 750ml
36 x 500ml or 48 x 375ml

= 543 litres

b) Is not a major issue

I'll try to make sense of this [list = a] thing... :?

I like both ideas, double mags and 6L, although I cant imagine wanting more than one 6L for myself, maybe with a couple of double mags and "samples" of whatever size.

If we cannot get them shipped to the US, in bond in the UK could work, then we could bring it back with by air in one or more trips.

Unfortunately I cannot do a lot about from here in CA, but I would be in for some of the cost and wine if we could get it together.

Gimme a 3.0 liter of 1970 Taylor; a corkscrew and a straw ... sounds like the perfect weekend! :winebath:

That would have to be one long straw! Hopefully you're not using one of Taylor's twisty kids straws!!! :) That's too much effort to get at the good stuff!

Would I be right in thinking that we have
Men in Charge of Idea's,
Men in Charge of Bottling Suggestions,
Men in charge of advice on how to Negotiate with the Shippers,
Men in Charege of what we may fill the bottles with, and
Men in Charge of Good intentions

But... (You know whats coming)

You also have
No Men in charge of collecting funds,
No Men in charge of driving to Portugal,
No Men Following the Negotiators Advice,
No Men overseeing Bottling,
No Men driving it back, and
No Men in charge of distribution!

Now I may be nit-picking, and you may consider this Minutiae, but I'm beggining to see a Flaw in this Plan! :?
An enjoyable Muse though. :)
