And in Colorado, there are no chain liquor stores and no sales of alcohol above 3.2 beer in grocery stores. So no liquor sales at Costco nor Trader Joe's. It is my understanding that one Trader Joe's in the state has an affiliated liquor store next door. But I think we have it better than PA (where I have lived and shopped in the state stores, and drove across to NJ when in real need).

Yeah I always felt bad for the PA folks, who were only a small step down from MA and MD in being impossible to ship alcohol to. Coming of age in NY, it was always silly that wine and liquor weren't allowed in grocery stores, but beer and "wine products" were. California has it right on that stuff. Sell whatever, wherever, with the appropriate license.

I have to settle for for Taylors LBV at my local Costco, but that is a large part of the reason that I have a Costco membership in the first place
