Thanks Eric. I've also reached out to a contact. Obviously no one knew, until Fred's post that is, that Niepoort didn't even release this label. I know of someone in the UK who bought a suspect bottle of Madeira from Christies in Geneva. Christies contacted him when they determined an issue with the bottle, before he suspected a problem. He confirmed a problem and Christies in Geneva refunded his bid. That said, he is an important customer to them.
