Just returned from a nice dinner with friends in SF, bottles made it through the plane ride intact, 14 hours from the first taste. Life is good.

I look forward to meeting everyone tomorrow.

Remarkable experience. Those of you who were unable to make this weekend's Madeira tasting missed something really special, and I am not just talking about fantastic ancient bottles of Madeira! A group of strangers with a common passion, wound up departing as friends and that for me, was the best part of the entire endeavor.

For those of you who did join in the fun, it was a great pleasure, no, great honor to have spent the better part of the past few days with you all. I certainly won't forget this experience anytime soon.

He, he friends....... At least I have decided på back in San Fransisco same weekend next May ( May 17th-18th ) ... Love the city... .. So let us hope...

Remind me in January when time will permit me to focus on this Reidar, but I must say that date does not work. I will be in Portugal from May 11-18th for sure. Can you switch dates NOW?
