Wish I had a Vesuvio and to a lesser degree a Delaforce--still it should be a very nice lineup. I was going to decant about 12 hours prior---does that sound right?
Nice line up. Somewhere between 8-10 hours probably would be fine for most.
I'm a big fan of the value in '95. I hope they showed well!

Thanks for decanting confirmation. Sounds like I'll get a little taste for breakfast!
I've has a few 95s over the past couple of years---Dows and Warres---decent but not blown away either. Looking forward and I'll post a synopsis.

As I was asked to be a guest lecturer today at California Polytechnic University Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) Collins College of Hospitality Management for their Advanced Wine class, teaching about Portuguese wines and Ports. We covered a Vinho Verde, a Ramos Pinto Duas Quinta Douro wine, a Taylor's 20 year tawny, and this. here's the TN

On Saturday for Kari's 50th, a 750 and a 375 of 1965 Kopke Colheita. Different sources, but both bottled in 2014.
Then tonight, a 2007 Presidential LBV. As I recall this was a winesearcher purchase, and a very successful one at that. This was my last bottle.

Last Tuesday I opened a bottle of Fonseca 1948 as my contribution to a Fonseca vertical from 1994 back to the 1948.
On Saturday we had a 1945 horizontal with 23 different 1945 ports. I supplied Fonseca, Taylor, Croft, Eira Velha and Morgan.

Had a '66 Grahams over the weekend. Actually, it was on Friday night and had one glass left on Sunday that was still showing well. Became a little simple by Sunday, but very smooth. The vintage is a little more spirity than I remember. Was digging the $9.95 price tag from the local now defunct liquor store near my house.

So far, the other bottles from this case have been stellar, so the expectation is high!

I agree. I bought a couple of cases a couple of years ago on sale for $15.99. Down to my last 4 bottles.
