It is a nice VP. What price?
If I remember correctly, it was $46 a bottle. Pretty decent for buying it in the US.
Have you tried this vintage, Andy?

Good price. Yes I have. There should be a TN in the database on it from me.
1 x Casa de Santa Eufemia Special Reserve White Port (30 year old)
1 x 2013 Graham LBV. I've never come across a Graham LBV in my travels, so I had to buy it.

Just a few for sipping? LOL
Ha-ha, tha Crasto's I'll see again in 10 years time or so, and the tawnys I'm selling something like 18-24 of them to others.
The Tawny's were only 11-12 Euros so not much can go wrong.
On a recent visit to Warsaw I was surprised that come across an excellent wine shop Mielzynski, stocking an excellent range of Vallado, Wine & Soul and Vale Dona Maria Ports. I bought two bottles of the 2009 VDM.
No kidding! Good for you. That is a special port that is becoming a classic of the vintage.
It is very evolved already compared to others from the vintage, very light and tawnyish in colour and taste. I wouldn't recommend holding on to them for too long. I think it is at its peak and should be drunk within the next 4-6 years.

I had one in 2016 and it was not tawnyish at all...in a good spot. Nonetheless, likely to get consumed over next 5 years--will post a TN when I open the first.
Last night picked up a 375 of 2009 Casa Santa Eufemia LBV for $15 just for kicks. Weird skinny bottle.
1968 Andresen Colheita, 500ml
1952 Barros Colheita Port
1967 Barros Colheita Port
All relatively recent bottlings. I was outbid on 1941 and 1974 (Carnation Revolution bottling) Barros colheitas.

8 bottles of 1985 Fonseca at $69.
Great price for a very good Port!

Two bottles of Cockburn 1955 and two bottles of Martinez 1955 from the company who bottled these wines when they were imported in 1957 and who have held them in their company storage bins ever since. Being released for sale now since the Ports are considered to be ready for drinking.

Talk about taking the long view!
Very nice! (and being a bit jealous!)
Sometimes I wish we had shops like that over here in The Netherlands!
I've been waiting on this for a while now, but it was time to actually finish the deal

2 x 1970 Fonseca
7 x 1983 Gould Campbell
2 x 1985 Gould Campbell
8 x 1997 Quinta do Noval ($69 seemed too good to pass up for 750's. I've only owned this in 375 ml until now.)
2 x 1966 Taylor
2 x 1977 Warre's
2 x 1983 Warre's
2 x 1994 Warre's
5 x 1963 Martinez

That's a crazy good price! Those are usually really hard to find, too.
I was happy about the price, but more than that, I am hoping to get clean impressions of that particular VP. The majority of bottles I've tasted from friends' cellars, have been corked. Even one from Noval. So regardless of price, I just hope to get some clean bottles, so I can get an idea of where these really stand nowadays.
