1 x Graham's SH76 - "only" available on Emirates 1st class flights
The number of times I have had to explain to aircrew not to serve port in shot glasses..
- And no aircraft with me on board lands with a half empty bottle left over - let alone a full one..

Hah. Never had a shot glass used on a plane just the usual wine glass they use for everything. But Same here on the bottle quantity. Air crew always seems a bit surprised someone has more than a small glass of it and it usually generates some questions from them.

That’s a 63 you don’t see often.

That's exactly why I bought it. It's probably not going to be a world beater, but it will be unique...and hopefully drinkable.

A bit of an oddity, this vintage of Feuerheerd was quite well marketed in the UK, but prior and subsequent vintages are rarely seen.
I last opened one three years ago - very light, but pleasant.

If memory serves the 1L is a ~40 yr tawny. I’ve not had it in a very long time but still have the empty bottle on my shelf.

Today was day off, went on a walk to try to find wine shops with special Port ''dying'' on the shelves. I normally avoid Vintage but had nice experiences with old Tawny/Colheita. These rare treasures are getting harder to find but I think it is still possible to get nicely priced Port with some bottle age, if you enjoy that!
Found :
Feist 40 years old bottled 1991
Valente, Costa Limitada Vinho Velho do Porto - apparently a 50+ years old Port bottled in the 50'-60's. That is what the shop owner told me, but looking at the bottle it could be older. It looks like an early model of the 2 pieces bottles.

Just got back from Port Harvest Tour 2, and the checkbook is quietly sobbing in the corner. There's too much to recount in detail, but the highlight would have to be re-supplying my stock of DR L70, as well as picking up more of their Very Old White Port which is a 50-year old. I also finally managed to acquire a bottle of their Muito Velho Tawny Port which we've now tasted 3 times and is allegedly an 1885 Colheita.
I have Ports coming from Andresen, Brunheda, Bulas, and Quinta do Mourao as well! Something like 4-5 cases in total (including DR).
It was a good trip.
