I too managed to make it to Portugal recently and couldn’t resist all of the things I found. Mostly for regular drinking but one or two special things.

2 each 1985 and 1989 Kopke Colheitas, 750ml

BTW Andy, Michael Rodriguez said to say hello. I picked this up at Bevy's, south Denver area, and he works there now. He knows you from when he used to work at Wine Exchange in the LA area.

I got lucky, I saw it on an auction and there were no bids. I haven't received the bottles yet, but they are supposed to be in top condition.
The Offley Boa Vista Ports are not usually highly rated, but I find them to be sneaky good, especially with some age on them. The best part is that they normally sell for a low price.

Only amongst those who don't know them.. [cheers.gif]

Aside from drinking to a standard that often puts them on a par with Taylor, the quality of bottling is usually better than most, with good levels.

I also picked up a 2008 Warre's LBV....think I paid closer to $26 though.
