I asked myself the same exact question and then I read his title. You were up early this morning so you have a built in excuse. I'm not sure what my excuse is, lol.

1994 Smith Woodhouse VP, 375ml. Not bad, but not outstanding either. More developed than I would hope a 750 of this would be, but I'm not totally surprised for the 375.

São Leonardo 100 - such an amazing wine. Right up there with the best ever; on a par with the Niepoort VV.

Not a Port, but thought I'd still mention it here:
NV Bookcliff Vineyards Souzão, Colorado Dessert Wine
I went in with low expectations. They were met.

I opened this, which I picked up at a wine fair in Regua a few years ago. Sealed with a T-cork. It was horribly corked

2011 Alves de Sousa VP. I just decanted it and it has beautiful aromatics. Even the Mrs. loved the smell and she's not a huge Port drinker. The scent reminded me of a 2007 Graham's, which I think will be another blockbuster down the road. It is dark purple as expected and it threw off zero sediment. I took a small sip as I always do when I decant, just to get a sense of how it might taste. It was medium weight, slightly sweet and had a hint of alcohol, but overall it was very well integrated for a young port. I'm going to let it sit for at least 8 hours before I try a glass. I'll update this later.

1994 Quinta do Crasto VP was put in decanter a bit ago for later tonight. Wanted to check in on it and see how it’s developing.
