Tebow had some success this year due almost entirely to the Denver defense,
I think that is grossly overstated. Yes the D was much tougher during their winning streak, but it was Tebow that manufactured the points with his legs, timely passing in the waning minutes of many games and making better decisions on getting rid of the ball when necessary. His young mistakes of INTs and poorly thrown balls or many that were thrown too hard to receivers within 10 yards, is why I drew the comparison to Ellway. I don't think Tebow is the 2nd coming of John though. Can he improve and be a good passer, yes, the coaches will need to spend more time with him and Tim will need to get to know his receivers by spending lots of practice time with them. If he works hard, he can still become a worthy QB. He has shown the ability to pass well and make some good decisions at times and has equally looked terrible in throwing passes directly at the D. A work in progress for sure, but Elway took several years too and again, I am not comparing these guys though, just sayin'.

Sure, the Packers made some mistakes, but credit should be given to the Giants D and also Eli Manning. A seemingly unstoppable offense can look out of synch due to a tough defense. Despite the refs' best efforts to aid the Pack, the Giants put Rodgers under pressure, covered well in the secondary, forced big turnovers, played well offensively, and beat a great team on the road. We have someone here that thought that unthinkable yesterday, but the Giants outplayed the Packers in every sense, on both sides of the ball. Most impressively was the defense of the Giants but Manning was really impressive too.
