Good luck with the flight...see you soon!

We've got an incredible line up of wines and Ports for tonight. I can't wait to see everyone. Safe travels all and see you all very soon!

Sounds like you need some Port, Roy.

I've made it as far as Chicago, connection to the OC looks on time, so my luck is holding up so far. A hundred miles down, 2,000 to go...

At least we don't have tons of snow out here to cause issues. Hope our "storm of the year" doesn't cause issues and the rest of your trip stays on time *keeping fingers crossed*

BTW, it's the only big storm we've had in 2014 so by default it's the storm of the year. Though the news would have all believe the world is about to end in So. Cal.

My flight is 20 min late. I plan to catch my already schedule 5pm hotel shuttle, so should still be in time for dinner barring further delays.

Ok, so I thought it sucked having to go through Salt Lake City, Utah to get here. That was actually the best part of my day so far.

I get to Ontario, CA and the announcement comes 45 minutes after we've landed, that (get this!!!) ... the crew that handles the baggage was unable to open the cargo doors on the jet. Yep. So they update us about every fifteen minutes from there and finally say it will be another hour (at least), as they were able to pry the door open "a little" but not enough to get to our luggage. People are furious by now. I had the hotel van outside waiting and Bradley B. in it. Finally they announced they would be even longer and if we all wanted to wait in line they could arrange a delivery. Yeah, but that could be tonight or tomorrow. So I have to go back to the airport to get my stuff, no easy feat and a huge waste of time. Anyway, remember: "NEVER fly with Roy"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to Andy (and Tom D. too!) for putting together extraordinary back-to-back events this weekend. True FTLOP Port debauchery at its best. Awesome food and wine extravaganzas with the Taylor vertical absolutely fantastic.
