I've been past the big gates to Quinta do Seixo on N222 many times, but have never actually visted the Quinta. Now I wish I had!

Thanks Richard! I visited it last summer with George and it's a magnificent Quinta. They did a great job on the design of the tasting room with those large glass windows overlooking the Douro River and other vineyards. A place I will go back to again for sure and one I recommend to anyone visiting the Douro.

Just trying to catch up now on some of your postings Richard. I enjoyed this one very much, thank-you. Interesting that they recorked the 1963.

Interesting that none of the VP tasting notes (except the 2007) mention fruit at all, other than orange. They sound quite secondary or tertiary already -- wondering if this is the typical aging pattern for Sandeman VP?
