Thanks. I definitely was going to see what Peter might have to say on these bottlings--I think I took it about as far as I could with my sources. I'll email him.

Peter did respond with a lengthy comment on the blog where he indicates who the likely producers of the 1880 were, and pretty strong suggestion that the "1842 Terrantez" is a fake that has appeared a number of times on the island. I really appreciate his additional info.
