I'll let others comment about the content, but want to correct an omission of fact: Sogrape also owns Offley.

Not very important, but I´ve to say that nowadays is about 39100 grape growers and 45700 hect cultivated

Sounds pretty fancy; not many Portuguese from SE Mass would spend that kind of money on a hotel room, food included or not.

Another correction of fact:
The Douro (1756) is not the oldest demarcated wine region in the world, it is the 3rd oldest after Chianti (1716) and Tokaj (Wikipedia lists 1730, another source lists 1700).

I'd seen pictures of the Romaneira that made me want to stay there, but for the price I can stay elsewhere and buy a lot of high quality Port. Despite the errors, a nice article.
