From a half bottle, this time it was not my idea, but a frend who brought it to make me a little gift.
Fading ruby color with tawny edges, nose was showing mature palate of sandal wood, raisin, dates, floral tones too but alcool was too present. Same thing on the palate, raisiny flavor and sandal wood where dominant, tannins are melted, sugar is taking over acidity, alcool is kicking with the spicy finish. Somewhat a pleasant but unbalanced Port, far too pricy at 89$can the half bottle because the hyped with this vintage. Is it the half bottle effect of just that Barros is not consistent with VP. 14.5/20
