Just opened a Royal Oporto 1980 - quite tasty, but not something to rush out and buy.

**Late edit : Oops, meant to say that I opened a Royal Oporto 1970 but got the vintage wrong.

Opened a 1996 Quevedo Colheita last night. Somehow it's just not the same as when drinking it at the quinta with Oscar and a bunch of other Port geeks.

1937 Royal Oporto Colheita, impressive for this producer although it may have been the pristine bottle (btld. 1973).

I've just opened a bottle of Unknown Shipper from the 1908 vintage - it had started to leak so needed to be opened and drunk.

It's tough, but someone's got to do it :drunk:

It was a good week:

1984 Smith W LBV
1994 Pocas LBV
1995 Smith Woodhouse LBV
1996 Quinta do Crasto LBV
1999 Qta da Gaivosa LBV
1999 Smith Woodhouse LBV
2000 Ferreira LBV
2000 Quinta do Crasto LBV
2003 Fonseca LBV
2003 Qta de la Rosa LBV
2003 Quinta do Crasto LBV
2003 Taylor LBV = the only one in the list which was NOT Unfiltered

That was fun, but I am really in the mood for a great Vintage Port this weekend! [cheers.gif]
