1934 Dalva Colheita Port (cask sample)
Tasted at the C. da Silva Port Bar on Nov 2nd, 2010
A tawny brown colour with sediment at the bottom. On the nose, it had a sweet brown sugar aroma. Tasted dry, but I had it right after the '63 and '52 Golden Whites which have great acidity, so less acidity relative to those two. Spices and cinnamon notes as well. Long, pleasant finish. A treat to try, thanks Goncalo! Excellent. 95 points
