Vinotemp for sale in Seattle

If anyone in the Seattle area is looking for wine storage cabinet, there is a Vinotemp 440-bottle unit for sale on Craigslist. They are asking $999. I think it is a model E600.

I've been waiting for a large capacity wine cabinet to pop up on craigslist, and when it finally did, I discovered that it was a couple of inches too tall for my 1940's basement, which was a total bummer.

Hopefully my loss will be someone else's gain:

[Note: I have no financial interest in this and don't know the gentleman selling the fridge, just passing the info along.]

Glenn definitely needs more room for bottles and should jump on this one. I am sure we can help him fill it in no time at all. [yahoo.gif] [foilhat.gif] [cheers.gif] [1974_eating_popcorn.gif]

Sure they are. Look at all that money Stewart saved you by finding that used wine fridge.

So let's take a vote ... who says Glenn should buy this contraption? [shrug.gif]

Anyone want to form a pool to pick a date in the future when Glenn would have this new wine chiller filled to the brim? [dance2.gif]

If so, I'd be very happy to put up a worthy prize of Port. :scholar:

It would fill much faster if I could find a job! [beg.gif]

Still awaiting word on my last interview... if I get good news before Christmas I just might see if this is still available. Not sure where I'd put it, though, as the study is already pretty full with the 2 I have!

It is pretty simple actually. You are virtually out of space for storing your Ports properly. You will eventually find another job. Prices for cooling units are very rarely that low around here and to find a solid used unit is well worth buying when the op strikes. Your other option ... is to stop buying any new Port altogether ... a fate worse than _________________ .

I've been watching craigslist regularly in my area, and these refrigerator cellars do in fact come up fairly often, as do cellar coolers and even entire cellars.

Nice Andy, it had a kind of Jedi Mind Trick slickness to it, not quite Yoda-esque, but with a bit more practice ... the force may be with you.

May the Port be with you.
