I blame the arena setup, not the Black Eyed Peas. The fact that Fergie's mike was off for the first minute tells me that the production team was the weak link.

Guest appearance by Slash = WIN.

Not a great performance, but considering some of the past few years, not so bad.
I thought the commercials were pretty bad. I was looking forward to them.

The Black Eyed Peas performance was fine. Their whole routine is a bit played out and viewers are sick of the same songs and visual routine. I guess too much success is a bad thing! The choreography on the field was splendid. Fergie could’ve done better singing with Slash. I would’ve loved to hear Slash play the national anthem instead of Christina Augleira.

The Puppy Bowl on the other hand, was just too cute!

Yeah, and not repeated any lines that were not part of the original song. What a freakin' embarrassment that was.

I certainly preferred THE WHO last year.

Although the game has come and gone two weeks ago, let me belatedly add:

Aaron Rogers has established a new standard for making people forget legendary players who stayed too long. Good on him!
The half time show didn't work for me either. They should have gotten the Dallas Symphony Orchestra to play Bruckner instead. (the adagio of the 7th Symphony in E major - complete with Arby's fish sandwiches, if you are paying close attention to their new commercial)
I feel terrible for those bought tickets for temporary extra seats that were not ready in time for the game. Considering what travel and accomodations were going for at the time, I hope the parties win big in court here.
