Lets just say that I think I am a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to my consumption of port!

The Betsy Black sounds the most appealing of the three. That said, I'm with Paul on this one - I'd much prefer my port straight up.

Zoiks Scoobey!
I've shaken many a cocktail and those do not seem appealing at all...Not the least of which why do you want to take a relatively expensive, good wine and add all kinds of strong flavors to it, thereby eliminating the essence of what a good port is. A good cocktail should enhance, not mask (unless of course your purpose is not taste, but effect).

When it warms up a little bit, and when I get some time, I am planning on trying some of these to see how they taste. Let you know the results when I do.

Elys and I drink a lot of Dark 'N Stormy's, so I have everything except the simple syrup. Will 2005 Dow LBV work as well as Noval Black?
I am not much of a mixed drink drinker. Scorpian Bowls, Red Bull Vodka...
Fancy martini's are just too much

No, I admit I have forgotten about this. I'll see if I can change that in the coming weeks.Al B. wrote:So did you try one?Andy Velebil wrote:Same.Paul Fountain wrote:Lets just say that I think I am a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to my consumption of port!
