For The Love Of Port

0 hours: Light red almost at the point of turning brown at the edges.
Nose: a bit of alcohol and some fruit. A hint of wood. Sharp taste, light on the fruits. Tawny finish. Not the markings of a young VP.

4,5 hours: color unchanged.
Nose: alcohol gone and a bit more fruity "vintage like", but generally very weak bouquet.
Not as much alcohol on the toungue. Light fruit and a weak tawny finish.

Generally a relatively unimpressing VP but at a price of about $15 US it's a nice bottle for everyday VP drinking. My guess would be that it will not improve much if stored. For a VP this young I was surprised of how little fruit there was left.

Update 30 hours: brown hues gone from the color. Dark red a bit lighter at the edges.
Nose and tast much more balanced. Nice sweetness and a medium long finish finish. In my opinion better than yesterday.
