Vesuvio 95

Post by Stuart Chatfield »

I see BBR have this at GBP24.80 for today only. I am sure they have already offered this on their special Friday discounts recently and there has been a huge stash at Costco even cheaper. Has someone offloaded a large amount recently?

A way to cheer yourself up after the depression of the stellar NN31 prices in London recently!

£25 a bottle seems a very fair price for a pretty good wine.

I've seen a lot of Vesuvio come onto the market recently, I also recall Berry Brothers telling me that they still had quite large stocks of the wines - it looks like we're not buying and drinking enough of the stuff chaps!

Buy more! Drink more! (Sensibly and in moderation, of course.)

For fear of litigation when I next travel to the US!

If you're not a US citizen then feel free to drink yourself into a stupor every night.

Oh, right - I'm off to Appleton WI in August to do a spot of competition judging (fireworks, not booze).

If anyone's snooping, I promise to be as sober as a judge...

...to quote a classic oxymoron :P

If you guys cross the pond and don't make a quick side trip to Seattle, that would be a shame. I'd offer you a place to stay and might be tempted to open a bottle of Port or two. :winebath:
