Can't help you with Lisbon, but you probably want Sao Bento in Porto.

2 main stations in Lisbon (both on the same line):
Santa Apolónia and Oriente. Both have subway connections (Santa Apolónia is on the blue line, Oriente on the red line).
You can purchase tickets from ATM machines, www.cp.pt or at train stations. The better (and faster trains) are the AP trains; there are several linking Lisbon to Porto each day. Stations at Porto are Vila Nova de Gaia (just south of the Douro) and Campanhã (which has a rail link to São Bento, downtown Porto).

As an option that is not much more in time, you can also take a bus. ![Toast [cheers.gif]](./images/smilies/cheers.gif)
