Peter this is a fantastic find. As you may remember I had a bottle from Habersham's Painted Pipe that was sold to Cornelius Vanderbilt in 1899. It was bottled from demijohn in 1907 by Morten and Co. for Mrs. Vanderbilt. A picture can be found here http://www.finestandrarest.com/sitebuil ... 99x340.jpg

As you can also see the bottle types match exactly. I valued my bottle near $5000.00 when I sold my collection last year. It is now in Europe waiting to find its way into a collector's hands. The added prominence may elevate the value of your find greatly. It is wonderful to see these old relics uncovered.

I also wanted to add that the information in Maderia the Island Vineyard by Noel Cossart is invaluable in researching Habersham's collection and tracing the whereabouts of the wine as it live on in history.
