Redoma Branco 2019 - Definitively one of my favourite redoma in such a young age. Starting my 2nd case this year.

Quinta da Costa Pinhao, Peladosa 2014, Douro : Simply WOW!!! Probably the best Douro red I had so far this year. Just an amazing expression and so intense and balance.

2005 Quinta do Crasto Vinha Maria Teresa.

We tasted the 2003, 2005 and 2006 together. I prefered the 2005, very close behind the 2006. The 2003 was struggling and I think the very hot year is now starting to take its toll on it.

2018 Broadbent Reserva Douro. Just got the case over the weekend and three bottles gone already. Should've moved them into the wine cellar earlier. Laziness went for the closest bottle in the kitchen. Elegant and restrained; lovely nose. Cannot tell the 14% alcohol. Screw cap makes it an easy choice. Will order another case very soon.

10/1 2005 Niepoort Redoma Reserva Branco. Drank at DOC. Mint bottle, needed the typical 1 hour decant to show best,

10/2 2019 Soalheira Primeiras Vinhas. Drank at Os Luisadas. Very nice but not at it's peak as the Alvarinho is. Maybe 2-3 more years?

Randy - Thanks for opening up that 2005 Niepoort Redoma. I have a couple in my cellar and I hope that mine show yours did.

Poeira She 2016, Quinta do Poeira, Douro : A fresh and lighter expression of Douro. Still got the ripe black fruits tones but less oak and less extraction at 12,5%, drinking very well.
