Nose: light

Body: medium to full

Taste: big initial attack with great acid

Aftertaste: fairly long

19/20

Seemed younger than a 97 year old wine.

Hi John,

I am curious as to how far in advance you decanted this bottle?

Roy:

Not at my house-was decanted before we arrived(7:30) and drank at 9:30.

Wow, interesting. Any clue as to when this was bottled?

Not on the bottle but from the original case I know it was sold in auction in NY

in 1993.
