Natural Disaster - Revisiting & Remembering

Post by Roy Hersh »

On Saturday, February 20th 2010, a massive deluge descended upon the mountain villages surrounding Funchal, Madeira’s capital city. Eight hours of pounding rain battered the island's quarter of a million inhabitants, equaling the sum total of a month’s worth of precipitation.
