It is a small world afterall

So last night I was having dinner with one of my dearest friends and his whole family. We worked together nearly 30 years ago @ NYC's, The Water Club, back when that was a hot spot in the city and today, he owns to wildly successful Manhattan eateries. He cooked a fantastic Choucroute and I brought the wine. Little did I know until he called today that his other friend who was at dinner with his wife (she a former well known runway model from Denmark), he was the son of Lauren Bacall and Jason Robards. I knew Sam was an actor, but we didn't really talk about careers, so I never put two and two together. He was a really funny guy and had us laughing all night long like a stand up comedian. Only in NY!
