I know David and Jamie and found this to be a good read for those that like to plan wine events. Some of it may be a drop over the top, but you decide.

Pretty light on actual tips for planning an wine event.

LeClaire ... suggests brushing your teeth in the middle of wine parties to keep your palate as clean as possible.

I thought that was bad for your teeth as it exposes the enamel more to the acid in the wine.

And agreeing with Moses, this article is more about attending and less about planning.

Yes, I recall that also. Where I read that though I can't recall, other than on one of the wine forums I've belonged to over the years.

A baking soda rinse would do better at neutralizing acids without wearing down the enamel IMO. I am not a dentist for what it's worth, but have health teeth.
