It Will Be a Rare Wine Co. Monday!

Post by Barry Sunderland »

So, as my school district cuts our academic days further [dash1.gif] , and my family's income even lower [help.gif] with another furlough day, I will head back to RWC in Sonoma, picking up my 2 Barbeito 30 Year Special Lotes, and probably something else on the older side, in the $300 or so range, as I've taken to reducing expenses on other domestic fronts to pay for this dogged Madeira habit. I love acid, in the Boal and Verdelho style, so if you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

The best,

That's the way to look on the bright side, Barry! :salute:

The 1912 D'Oliveira Verdelho is great in my opinion, but at $375 it is priced a bit over your $300 threshold.

Steve,

I DID go with the 1912 D'Oliveira Verdelho. Thanks!
