Latest Port buying op

Post by Don M »

Hi there. Just an FYI for those jumping on the latest buying OP. I had great difficulties checking out from the "shoppping cart" on my Mac. I could enter my purchase/shipping info, but could not advance to the payments page. In the end, I registered and entered/saved my shipping and mailing address (two different items on the web site), and doing so allowed me to advance to the payments page. If you have similar problems, I recommend registering on the retailer's web site. Perhaps those otherwise afflicted with a windows machine may fare better.

In any "case"....its ON!

:winebath:

Oh, and thanks, FTLOP, for another buying opportunity!

Did you get the discounted prices? I was able to see the producer's wines but they were showing at the retail price so I didn't proceed.

Yes, it was a rough day for the retailer and for Roy. I think I've finally straightened them out. First the issues mentioned above, then the prices were on winesearcher.com, then they launched "accidentally" a mailer including our pricing ... which is a far cry from what their customers are going to pay. Tonight, I made sure to send an email to all subscribers with ordering info to clarify the easiest way to get things ordered in the USA.

Of course in the UK and EU, things are smooth sailing. Now if only Canada would play nice! :scholar:
