NV Fonseca 20 Year Old Tawny

Darkish amber with bright red highlights. The nose is on the fruity side for a 20 Year - strawberry jam,fig and cherry cough drop with a bit of sandalwood and caramel. Moderate sweetness starting with red berries and caramel and picking up a cinnamon-y spice on the midpalate. Hints of nuts come around on the medium length finish. There's enough acid to carry it and the balance is good but it lacks a little depth and complexity for a 20YT. 90 pts, Tasted 12/12
