Someone offered me this VP (which are well stored) for €30,00 a bottle.
I know this isn't much, but I haven't had anything from this house before.
Does somebody has a TN on this one or can tell me if it is worth to try?

Thank you, Monique.

I've tated it 2 years ago and it was very fine. Quarles harris are for the medium term drinking IMHO and this one is a fine example from this house, I've tasted the 83 and 85 too and the 77 is the best. Fully mature right now, its show complexity and finesse of an old VP.

You should enjoy it a lot.

If you don't want it, I'll take it! This is a very, very good VP - I tasted it last a year ago and it was amazing: still sooo young, still sooo much potential. If provenance is good, go for it!

I finished the last of my case last winter. There was a remarkable variation between bottles, some almost astringent, other quite sublime.

I agree with Jason.

Yours aye,

John
