TN: 1795 Barbeito Terrantez Vintage Madeira

Moderately dark brown. Aromas of spring flowers, toffee, menthol, spearmint, with some cloves and caramelized banana. With time wonderful aroma of crystallized violets and many herbs develop. Huge violet flavor predominates on palate with excellent complexity and balance. Excellent acidity. Moderately long - long, clean finish. Nose 20, taste 19, total score 19.5/20. Mannie Berk reports that there are much better bottles. I thought this one was fabulous. (3/12).
