TN: 1863 Miles Malmsey Solera Madeira

Very dark, green rim. Nose of lemon initially, but becomes dark Karo with orange zest after 1 hour in the glass. Huge body, with molasses, dark fruit and orange zest for interest; not very complex. Moderate length. Good acidity. This wine changes remarkably with time in the glass. 17/20. (1/08).
