Very dark, color of Coca-Cola. Nose with prominent pumpkin pie spices. Multi-layered with caramel, a little orange zest, good acidity, and a slightly bitter but long finish. My fifth place among 9 malmseys/malvasias with dinner. 18/20. Nice pairing with pear tart with raspberry mango coulis. (1/13).

Is this the same as the 1875 D'Oliveira Malvasia Family Reserve, the one bottled in the 1970s?
