TN: 1885 Barbeito Malvasia Vintage Madeira

Dark with green edge. Burned sugar, blanched almonds and toffee nose. Caramel flavor with orange rind, lemon juice and Provencal spice. Excellent acidity. Long finish. 18+/20. My number 4 of 9 malvasias with dinner. Lovely match with pan-seared duck breast with mushrooms in port wine blueberry sauce. (1/13).
