TN: 1899 Abudarham Terrantez Vintage Madeira

Deep orange brown. Huge caramel, toffee nose. Great depth of flavor with toffee, nuts, distinct hints of cloves and cinnamon. Long, sweet finish; perfect balancing acidity. Bual sweetness. Same wine as Cossart Gordon AAO-SM@. 19.5/20. $200. (6/12/99). Mannie Berk thinks this was blended with sweeter, richer wine, diluting out the terrantez character.
