Excellent showing. Very dark with amber edge. Karo syrup, blanched almonds, maple syrup and peaches on nose. Tastes intensely of peaches, with nuts and touch of pesto. Excellent acidity and long finish. 19/20. Not overmatched by venison tenderloin with black truffle red wine reduction; melted Roquefort cheese on top was better removed. My number 1 of 9 malvasias with dinner. (1/13).
