TN: 1907 Unknown bottler Malvasia Vintage Madeira

Purchased in Funchal wine shop (by Barbeito). Bottled before 2000. Medium-dark brown with light green edge. Great nose of coconut, marzipan, almond skins and vanilla. On palate almost Riesling-like fruit sweetness with light Karo, marzipan and coconut adding interest. Not big, but great complexity. Long finish. 19. After 2.5 hours in glass, stable. 18.5/20. (3/10).
