TN: 1914 Barbeito "MBV" Boal Vintage Madeira

Mario Barbeito's private reserve. Bottled 2004. Very dark brown with amber edge. Rich, complex nose of dried peach, Brazil nuts, a little smoke. Less complex in mouth despite plenty of glycerine; dried peach and some caramel flavors. Short finish. 16. With 2.5 hours in the glass, improves, but not enough depth or complexity for more than 17/20. (3/10).
