TN: 1927 D'Oliveira Bastardo Vintage Madeira

Light color. Banana and coconut nose, sweet and fruity. Touch of cloves. Tropical fruit with nutmeg and cloves in mouth. Short finish, becoming progressively bitter with time. 16 becoming 14 becoming 12. This is same wine as Adegas do Torreao above, but bought and bottled later by D'Oliveira. Similar to the AdT, but with prominent bitter finish. (3/07).
