TN: 1940 Blandy's Sercial Vintage Madeira

Dark brown with red tinge. Nutty nose with touch of caramel; alcohol shows thru a bit. Sweet walnut flavor with lemon overtones. Clean, high acid finish. Moderate aftertaste. 17.5/20. (1/09). Comparing notes, must be same as Leacock wine below.
