TN: 1948 Barbeito Malvasia Vintage Madeira

Dark brown with amber edge. Walnuts, toffee, chocolate chip cookie and raw beef bouquet. Quite rich, with walnuts and some chocolate and lemon adding interest. Adequate acidity and moderately long finish. 17.5/20. My number 7 of 9 malvasias with dinner. Terrific with pan seared foie gras, goat cheese stuffed apricot and ginger cherry sauce. (1/13).
