Is the rule of thumb the same for decanting crusted ports as decanting vintage?

Since Crusted is a blend of years it likely starts out a bit smoother and more mature, so I would guess that it requires less decant time.

When was it bottled? I'd go for a similar decant time as a Vintage of same year.

Churchill's, bottled in 2000. It's 9:30 am, I just decanted and plan to drink in about 6 hours. I'm pleased with its taste right now!
Anyway, it'll be fun to continue to sip throughout the day.

Past experiance of Ch 2000 Crusted suggests that long decants are advisable.
