1966 Leacock's Bual - good but lacks a bit of acidity.

1957 H&H Boal - after trying this while visiting H&H this past May, I bought a few. This is a very worthy Boal.

1906 Leackcock's Malvasia - really impressive and a fabulous bottling of Malmsey.

I opened a 1988 D'Oliveiras Terrantez to garnish atop my clam 'n crab chowder on Friday night. It actually added significant flavor to the soup. :winebath:

Yes, I love that 1920 Barbeito FV, as well. It's quite electric. I have 1 bottle.

I have both this version (bottled in 2009 with the Barbeito name) and the version that was bottled in (I think)1998 with only the "Favilla Vieira" name I may try them side-by-side sometime.

Yet another 1988 D'Oliveriras Terrantez; my favorite "entry level" Terrantez, outside of a 20 year old H&H version that I can't find as easily.

Nice wine! Tasted it in Funchal december 2014. I think a little burnt aftertaste, like usually in Borges wines. [cheers.gif]
