I have opened the following Madeiras over the last month:

1979 Borges Sercial
20 years Blandy's Terrantez
20 years H&H Terrantez
20 years Barbeito Boal RR
15 years Borges Malvazia

Still enjoying the Sercial, the H&H Terrantez and the Malvazia [cheers.gif]

Eric,

They used to have that by the glass at Montrachet restaurant in NYC for a crazy price, circa 2007, IIRC, it was just under $20 for a very solid pour.

I'm doing a major reorganization of my cellar, reducing the table wine area and increasing the fortified area. I've had a couple nice surprises, like find out I had 5 bottles of this instead of the two I thought I had. [yahoo.gif] [foilhat.gif] :drunk:

1900 D'Oliveiras Moscatel. Probably in bottle over 20 years and the best showing I've had.

Barbeito 30 year malvasia

The label says that Barbeito would not make another 30 year malvasia for at least ten years. Has anyone heard of another 30 year malvasia on the way?
